29, 1907? This particular
event involved a boatman
named Bill Harvey--and a
motorboat, the Hyacinth.
B-P, his nephew, and 22
young boys from London
took this boat for a two-
mile boat ride from Poole,
England to a small island
named Brownsea...

A
good leader can talk the talk,
but a
great leader can also walk the walk...
“
Leadership is practiced not so much in words
as in
attitude and in actions.
”
--Harold S. Geneen
Anyone
can talk about being a leader… not everyone can actually do
it. Think about a project that you are working on at work
or at home. Are you talking about being a leader or are you
actually being one? In our society we sometimes equate
leaders as those who are in charge and giving directions.
But, if you really think about it… aren’t the real leaders
the ones that show you how to get the job done and do it
with you or take the time to lead you in the right
direction? Try to think of ways that you can be a better
leader this week!
