Good Scouting requires trained leaders doing what they are trained to do! |
Training for Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Committee Chairman,
and Committee Members is mandatory.
No leader can do their job without the tools necessary, and the Boy Scouts
of America provide all those tools, and more!
The Scout leader is considered trained when he or she has completed
New Leader Essentials,
Boy Scout Leader Specific
Training and
Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills.
The committee chairman or committee member is considered trained when he or she has completed New Leader Essentials and the Leader Specific Training (Troop Committee Challenge).
