About Us

Orange Frontier District serves the southern California communities of Cypress, La Palma, Los Alamitos, Midway City, Rossmoor, Seal Beach, Sunset Beach, and Westminster.

Orange Frontier District is comprised of Scout units who enjoy hiking, cycling, camping, backpacking, rock climbing, skiing/snowboarding, horseback riding, and water sports of all kinds - including a Venture surfing program and Sea Scout ship.  Scouts learn through fun, interactive activities that emphasize camaraderie, teamwork, and leadership skills. All levels of Scouting, beginning at age 6, are age based and grade related.

Orange Frontier volunteers avidly support and staff council events such as University of Scouting, Cub Day Camp, Cub and Scout Resident Camp, National Youth Leader Training (formally Junior Leader Training ), and special projects.

Additionally, Orange Frontier District earnestly supports the Scouting For Food and BSA National Popcorn Sales programs. We traditionally run 2 Camp-O-Rees a year and 2 Webelos-Rees.  Our District Training team offers a full spectrum of training classes and offers to bring the training to the units.

Take a look at our organizational chart and contact Steve Lewis if you are interested in joining the Orange Frontier District staff.

This all equates to a quality program for the youth, with trained adult leadership, which is supported by an incredible professional volunteer staff.  If you would like more information on the Orange Frontier District, please call:
