A Message From Your District Chair

Dear Scouts, Scouters, Parents and Friends,

I feel deeply and profoundly honored to serve as your District Chair.  I see so much potential to reach youth (boys and girls) in the school districts and L.D.S. Stakes that we serve, because of the commitment I see in the Scouting volunteers in the Orange Frontier District.  My goal is to avail myself and my staff as much as necessary to support those who give themselves in service to the BSA Mission.  What can I do to serve you?  What can the District do to help you run your program?  What can we do together to positively shape the lives of those youth, young men and women around us?  I look forward to serving every unit in the Orange Frontier District, getting your input about Scouting programs and getting to know just what makes your unit special.

Based on ideas gathered at the District's planning meetings, some interesting new programs are to be implemented in 2008 and some past programs will be re-visited.  Also, several enthusiastic and skilled Scouters have stepped up to assume district-level positions for the coming year.  Stay tuned... it's going to be a great 2008 year!
